The Scare Bears will be playing Cherry St. Station in Wallingford on the 9th.

We will be playing with Nasty Disaster and Covin. It’s a bar, so the show is

21+… Again, it’s a bar, so come get fucked up!

Unfrotunately, not much new has been going on. Between busy schedules, shitty
weather conditions, and unprovoked spidermonkey attacks, we haven’t had any
good opportunities to work on new material. However, I would like to announce
the addition of our new keyboardist, Kevin (I think). He played with us at Toads
on 12/20 and has come up with an epic new interlude (I think that’s what they’re
called) that we will hopefully test out on the 9th (so fucking be there).

8.50 in advance and $10.00 at the door. Doors open at 6:00, show starts at 6:30,

It’s been a crazy long time since anyone has posted anything, so here goes… As most of you probably don’t already know, the majority of the Scare Bears work 9 to 5 jobs; the fun type where you have to wear a tie and such. Being the youngest and least professional member of the band, I work third shift with no supervision (hehe), so I’m up all night. I also have access to a computer and shit tons of free time. That being said, I have the opportunity to update and edit our online shit much more often than the rest of the band.

So from here on, I have decided to take on role as the unofficial public relations person. By unofficial, I mean I’ll leave all the legit business things like booking and anything that requires actual human contact to Dave (I suck at talking anyway).

Now to the point… Be sure to check our site more often as it will actually be updated regularly (hopefully). Add us on Facebook, Myspace, Twitter, etc. and check for upcoming shows! We should be playing sometime soon in Middlebury or Middletown (they both sounded the same at practice) with a bunch of other local bands, and I think we’re working on playing support act at another show. Either way, check out our shows tab often.
